Kiss the future is an exhibition an presentation of Walter van Beirendoncks autumn and winter collections for the 1998/1999 season. A shop-in-shop concept for the W.&L.T. Collections by Marc Newson was presented.
The presentation took place in a striking design made by the Australian designer Marc Newson for which an entire wall in the museum was demolished - an intervention that anticipated the additions to and rebuilding of the museum. An installation was created in the former printroom in which fashion, interior design and new media were presented as an integrated whole with the aid of CD-ROM, video, internet and interactive features.
KISS THE FUTURE! resulted in an attractive multi-media event with overwhelming visual excess.
