Fabrica is the Benetton Research and Development Communication Centre and was created in 1994 by Benetton. Fabrica is housed in a former 17th century villa re-shaped by Japanese contemporary architect Tadao Ando and is located outside Treviso, in North Italy.
Led by an international team, Fabrica supports the creative development of young artists and researchers of under 25 years from all over the world. After a selection process, Fabrica invites young artists to participate in a range of communication activities such as interactive media, photography, cinema, illustration, music, object design, visual communication and writing, and possibly as part of COLORS Magazine.
