He studied Interior Design at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf. Since 1998 he works as assistant to the manager and Creative Director at the internationally renowned agency meiré und meiré. For them Andreas Hoyer is conceptualising artprojects, e.g. for the installation company Dornbracht, which have been presented in various international museums and galleries. In 2002 he opende his multibrandshop "Heimat" in Cologne.
