Terry Jones is regarded one of the most innovative creative directors of his generation, best known as the founder and owner of the style magazine i-D. Born in 1945, he studied graphics at West of England College of Art at Bristol, and worked for women’s and society magazines such as Good Housekeeping and Vanity Fair prior to his appointment as Art Director at British Vogue. At Vogue Terry Jones worked closely with photographers such as Norman Parkinson and David Bailey and the fashion editor Grace Coddington, staying until 1977.
