Toshikazu IWAYA (born 1974-, Kanagawa), the designer of DRESSCAMP graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 1995. After his graduation, he started his career in the field of textile design, and it took some time before he became a fashion desginer. However, as soon as he made his Tokyo Collection debut in 2002, the media gave him a lot of attention. Shortly after his debut, he was awarded the Best Newcomer Prize at the 2004 Mainichi Fashion Awards.
