A Magazine #1, curated by Maison Martin Margiela, was published in June 2004.
In this 'A Magazine' everybody that has ever had ties with the house Margiela, long or short, was asked to show what they are working on at the moment or a piece of work which still remains very dear to them.
Permanent staff members, casual collaborators, trainees, assistants, models, photographers, musicians, artists, choreographers, filmmakers, they all gather within its pages. It’s a reunion where ‘The past is what bonds us, the future what leads us’ - A Magazine’s leitmotiv - also became the dress code.
