Next to her fashion editorials Komenda has always had a knack for taking pictures of children. "Children are unpredictable - and always beautiful. Unlike grown ups, they never look ridiculous."
In "kinder", Komenda gathered some of her portraits and published them with the help of Japanese powerhouse publisher Hougado. The book was presented in Vienna at the exhibition "Differing Views" in the Unit F SPACE in 2002 and sold at Colette, Paris.
