text Der Rubbish
Germany is the most advanced country in the world when it comes to collecting rubbish. Every year, all households are given a booklet explaining everything about rubbish and how to sort it. There are bins for green glass, white glass and brown glass. Recycling rubbish goes in yellow bags that are collected once a month. Newspapers go in a paper bin. Other rubbish goes in a small bin that's collected every two weeks. Get the sorting wrong, and you could find yourself in the local court, being frowned upon by everyone present. On recycling containers, it's written when you're allowed to dump your rubbish, that is, not on Sundays, and not between noon and 2 pm.
