In 1980 the Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker presented her first production “Asch”, followed in 1982 by “Fase, four movements to the music of Steve Reich”.
A year later she founded the dance company Rosas which received instant international acclaim with its first creation “Rosas danst Rosas”.
Some of her choreographies have been filmed including “Rosa” (music by Bartók, directed by Peter Greenaway), “Rosas danst Rosas” and “Fase” (both directed by Thierry De Mey).
