Paul Robbrecht graduated in 1974 as architect from the St. Lucas Institute in Ghent and began his career as an assistant to Marc Dessauvage in Bruges. In 1980 he became a member of the Centro Palladio in Vicenza, Italy.
Hilde Daem obtained her architecture diploma in 1975 at the Institute of Advanced Education in Ghent. Thereafter she studied graphic arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent and she worked as an assistant to architect Francis Serck. In 1995 she became a member of the beauty commission of the city of Middelburg and Vlissingen as well as president of the jury for several competitions.
