Karla Otto discovered fashion while modelling in Tokyo, Milan and Paris. In the late 70’s she started to work in the PR department of Italian Elio Fiorucci’s fashion label. After some years with the brand, she decided to set up her own public relations and image consulting company, in Milan in 1982. Her first client was Bobo Kaminski, followed shortly by Jean-Paul Gaultier, Miuccia Prada, Jil Sander and Marni who asked her to launch their labels.
In 1991 she opened an office in Paris and in 2001 another one in London, covering all the markets and providing a full range of services in the fashion field, including public relation contacts and strategies, showroom services, media buying, consulting for image and advertising campaigns, as well as event...
