Helga Schania and Hermann Fankhauser are the designers behind the Vienna-based Wendy & Jim fashion label. What they have in common is their approach to fashion: radical changes instead of detail alterations on the surface. This resulted in the creation of their joint label Wendy & Jim in 1997.
The designers themselves describe their style as "dry" and "slow". Each garment, each collection-piece is part of an overall theme, which in itself answers solely to an aesthetic concept. For each collection, they design special means of presentation, so-called ideal settings.
