Chant if you want to go slower.
"Oh Jehovah! How magnificent are thy works! Thou hast made all things in wisdom; the earth is full of thy riches. Great is this sea and wide in extent; therein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great animals. There go the ships and the leviathan (crocodile to you and me), which thou hast made to sport itself in it". (Psalm 104: 24-26)
True joy and happiness are worth their weigh in gold and everybody has a right to his or her personal convictions and beliefs. The quest to survive in a chaotic, dishonest and not moralistic society is extremely difficult, tiring and demoralizing. Each and every one of us, individual or as a group tries to be as happy as possible and to avoid pain. Your own happiness can change into misfortune by dishonesty and bad behaviour from others -but of course this also works the other way around! You are important to other people: they listen to you and are influenced by what you say and what you do. So make sure your intentions are positive and clear, care for others, as you would like them to care for you. In life there is no guarantee or promise for happiness, but you can better your chances for others to achieve the maximum by making their life a bit easier. And by doing so, you will feel better yourself as well.
Approach life, love and cooking with reckless abandon and above all: be true to yourself. |
